Golf Digest Ranks Pro Shop At Tulsa's Lafortune Park Among Top 100

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Golf Digest says the golf course at LaFortune Park is one of best places to buy new clubs in the country.

The magazine recognized LaFortune as one of the 100 best places to have clubs fitted. The recent renovation of the clubhouse has given them more room to do it.

"We've always had the ability to fit outside, but now we can do both," Pat McCrate said.

They are open year round and much of the year with extended hours. They keep adding new technology when it comes out.

"If you make a fitting system we want to be a part of it now," McCrate said.

You may have thought you just go grab a set of club off the rack and go play; you can, of course, but club fitting can make you better.

"It gives you the best chance to be the best golfer you can be," Matt Snedden, a customer, said.

The golf shop is at 55th and South Yale in Tulsa, and they're open every day.
