Woman Hit And Killed On A Tulsa Street ID'd

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A woman is dead after being hit by an SUV while walking to work on a Tulsa street late Monday night.

Police identified the victim as 37-year-old Bobbi Guire.

Tulsa Police say Guire was struck at around 9:30 p.m. at 41st Street near Skelly Drive.

They say she was walking to work at a Whataburger restaurant.

Officers say Guire was wearing dark clothing and they believe she was walking in the road because the sidewalks were covered in snow.

The driver of the SUV was taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out, but was not seriously hurt. 

Police say he was given a sobriety test as a matter of routine as well.
