Shooting Victim Sought In Tulsa Home Invasion Saturday Night

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police need your help tracking down a man they say was shot as he broke into a Tulsa apartment complex Saturday night.

The shooting happened at the Lakewood Apartments near 31st and Sheridan.

Police say a woman was at home with her children when the man knocked on the door. Officers say the woman told the man not to come in but he kicked in the door and that's when the woman shot him.

The suspect called 911 and told the operator he was on his way to the hospital with a gunshot wound. But he never showed up.

The victim told Tulsa Police she knows the man.

No one inside the apartment was hurt.
