TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are searching for a man with a bullet wound he apparently suffered during an attempted home invasion.

Tulsa Police were dispatched to Lakewood Apartments at 32nd and Lakewood Saturday night on a report of a home invasion.

Police say the suspect kicked in a door of a woman's apartment unit and was greeted with a gunshot wound.

The victim shot two rounds. One of the bullets hit the suspect, the other went through an adjacent unit.

The suspect then took off in a black Cadillac and called 911 to say that he was shot, but never showed up at a hospital, police said.

The victim was home with her children at the time of the incident.

The victim told police she recognized the suspect who is described as a black male in his 30's.

No injuries were reported at the scene.
