MOORE, Oklahoma -- Nearly one hundred people gathered Saturday to create a wall of silence outside the funeral for Carissa Kelm, who died earlier in the week in a sledding accident.

The 20-year-old mother was thrown from a sled being pulled behind a truck and hit a metal post. More than a dozen people from the Westboro Baptist Church protested outside the funeral at the Capitol Hill Full Gospel Church in Moore.

"To hear the things everything they were saying against her was wrong and unjust…Just to protest at her funeral," said Taylor Feeller, who organized the counter-protest.

Carissa Kelm was "killed by God for Oklahoma's sins in teaching rebellion against him and persecuting his people," a message on the website states.

Several people spoke out against the protest, even posting a message on YouTube.

"Nobody wants to be at a funeral to hurt and torment a family that's already been ripped apart in the soul," one YouTube poster said in a video.

Feeller said it gave her goosebumps to see the people that came out to support Carissa's family.
