TULSA, Oklahoma – Tuesday's record-breaking snowfall forced dozens of school districts across northeast Oklahoma to cancel class Wednesday.
Tulsa, Jenks, Union, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Owasso, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, and many others are closed Wednesday.

"We really try and let parrents know just as quickly as we possibly can," Dr. Keith Ballard, Superintendent of Tulsa Public Schools, said.
Ballard said the several factors go into the district's decision to close schools, including walking paths and parking lots.
A record 14 inches of snow fell in Tulsa Tuesday. Owasso saw more than 20 inches.
The snow isn't expected to disappear quickly. Wednesday's high is only expected to reach ten degrees.
