Snow Storm Turns I-44 Near Catoosa Into Parking Lot

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The record breaking snow storm has turned parts of I-44 into a massive parking lot.

The view from SkyNews6 shows miles of stranded trucks, cars and even snow plows stretching from the 193rd interchange to Highway 169.

On ramps and off ramps up and down the stretch of I-44 are also clogged with stranded vehicles.

People can be seen attempting to dig out their vehicles and helping out other drivers.

Some motorists have been stuck on the highway since 8:00 a.m.

The Oklahoma National Guard was also dispatched to assist with stranded motorists.
