Tulsa Mayor Says Search Committee Looking For City Auditor Replacement

TULSA, Oklahoma -- With the resignation last week of Tulsa city auditor Preston Doerflinger, Mayor Dewey Bartlett said Monday he has formed a search committee to fill that vacancy.

Doerflinger was elected to the job of city auditor in 2009 and had less than a year to go in his term.

Doerflinger's replacement will serve the remainder of the term which ends in December of this year.
