TULSA, Oklahoma – Tulsa Police are investigating after a body was found by a creek near 14th and Joplin Friday afternoon.
A worker at a nearby business found the body in the 5800 block of East 15 Street at about 3 p.m. Friday.
Police said it was a man's body, but have not identified the victim.
"All we know is that it's a white or Hispanic male," Sergeant Ali Maurer, Tulsa Police, said.
Sergeant Maurer said the man is believed to be under the age of 50.
Police believe the man's death is a homicide, though an exact cause of death has not been determined. The man's body has been sent to the Medical Examiners Office.
