Suspicious Item Found In Tulsa Store Determined To Be Harmless

Tulsa Police officers had to wait on a police bomb tech to arrive after a Home Depot employee found a suspicious device in their store at 901 South Elgin Wednesday morning.

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police officers had to wait on a police bomb tech to arrive after a Home Depot employee found a suspicious device in their store at 901 South Elgin Wednesday morning.

Police were summoned to the store after the employee found a piece of PVC pipe with a cap on both ends.

The employee moved the pipe to the alley behind the store.  

Police said as a precaution, the bomb tech blew up the pipe and determined it was harmless.
