TULSA, Oklahoma -- Slick streets are already are causing problems in Tulsa.

A multi-vehicle crash at the 129th East Avenue overpass on the BA had police diverting traffic in that area early Sunday evening.

A traffic accident shut down Yale from 81st street 91st street around 4 p.m. Sunday.  Officers say a driver lost control and hit a guardrail.

Crews were also working about a half dozen crashes on Highway 169 between 41st and 91st around the same time. The view from the News On 6 SkyCam network showed southbound lanes of 169 backed up for about a mile.

ODOT reopened the eastbound on ramp off of U.S. 412 onto the Will Rogers Turnpike near Catoosa after icy conditions caused several vehicles to lose traction.

ODOT crews are already out trying to keep the roads clear, spreading sand on bridges and overpasses.

Police say it's important to remember that bridges and overpasses ice over first, so you want to be extra careful.
