Tulsa One Of Six Cities On PBS' Antiques Roadshow Tour This Year

TULSA, Oklahoma -- PBS' Antiques Roadshow is coming to Tulsa this summer.  Tulsa is one of six cities selected for 2011.

The Tulsa show will be July 23, 2011 with PBS to air the show in 2012.

Those wanting to attend can start applying online between now and Monday, April 18, 2011. Applicants will be selected at random to receive tickets.

If you want to submit a piece of furniture for the show, you also have between now and April 18th to submit an application.

The news releases says the Antques Roadshow is looking for a few pieces of furniture to appraise and display on the set in each city of this year's tour.

The last time the Antiques Roadshow was in Tulsa was 2001. It also stopped in Oklahoma City in 2004.
