Two Injured When Stolen Car Crashes In East Tulsa Chase

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police recovered a stolen vehicle after rollover crash late Sunday.

It happened when Tulsa police attempted to stop a speeding Chevrolet Cobalt near 58th and Mingo about 10 p.m. Sunday night.

Instead of pulling over, the Cobalt sped off north on Mingo. The officer lost sight of the car, but spotted it at 27th and 101st East Avenue where it has overturned.

Police believe the driver may have been going over 80 mph when it missed the curve on 101st and rolled several times.

A male driver and female passenger were taken to a local hospital where they are expected to be okay.
