Silver Alert Canceled For 80-Year-Old Pittsburgh County Man

PITTSBURGH COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A Silver Alert has been canceled for an 80-year-old Pittsburg County man. He is safely at home with his family.

Donald Ballard had been last seen at 3 a.m. Friday at his house in Haileyville.

Ballard's wife told police that he came home at 3 a.m., and she told him to go back to work at Dixie Liquor in Hartshorne because he had to work until 7 a.m. He left to go back to work but never made it.

Ballard is an elderly white male driving a 2004 Ford XST with Oklahoma license plate 109DRK.

He was in a confused state of mind and has a proven medical or physical disability, according to the Pittsburgh County Sheriff's Department.

He was considered to be in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.
