Forbes.com released a list of the best - and worst - cities in the U.S. to find a job in the first quarter of 2011. Tulsa tied for fourth place in the best category.

UNDATED -- Tulsa is one of the best cities to find a job in the winter of 2011, according to Forbes.com. The business website lists Tulsa as the fourth best city in the nation as far as job prospects.

Tulsa is tied for fourth with the Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale area of Arizona. The city's net employment outlook is listed as 12 percent.

The article notes that employers are more optimistic for the first quarter of 2011 than they have been for the past two years. Employment services firm Manpower surveyed more than 18,000 employers in 100 metropolitan areas to find out who's hiring.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana is the website's top pick with a net employment outlook of 18 percent. Where not to look for work? Akron, Ohio, and Colorado Springs, Colorado tied for the worst spots.
