Tulsa Woman Celebrates 110th Birthday

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Friends and family held a party for the oldest known Tulsan Friday. Ora Holland will turn 110 years old on Christmas eve.

Holland was born in Rosebud, Missouri in the year 1900. She's lived in Tulsa for about 20 years, and was still driving up until just a few years ago.

Holland says she never thought she'd live this long.

"When I was about four or five everybody said I wouldn't live to be ten years old," Holland said. "But I got over that.. and here I am about to live to 110!"

Holland grew up on a farm, and says hard work is the secret to her longevity.
