Police Say Five In Custody After Deadly South Tulsa Shooting

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Five people are in custody after a deadly south Tulsa shooting Monday night.

According to police, A man was shot and killed at the Regency Point Apartments on 5477 East 71st Street around 9:15 p.m.

Tulsa Police say an ongoing feud between two men turned violent when one of the suspects left the scene and returned with a rifle. The other man was armed with a .45-calliber pistol.

An altercation then followed which spilled out onto the street where the two men got into a shoot out, according to police.

The man with the rifle was shot and taken by a friend to the hospital where he later died. The man with the .45-caliber was unharmed. police say a woman was injured trying to get away from the scene.

Police say there were 5 people in the apartment unit when the incident started.
