TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 26-year-old Tulsa man wrecked his pickup after running a tollbooth early Sunday morning. Troopers say Stephen Christopher Baldwin II ran the eastbound Creek Turnpike tollbooth at Riverside at about 2:08 a.m., accelerated and lost control of his pickup on a curve.

Baldwin's 2008 Toyota Tacoma rolled several times, and he was ejected from the vehicle. Baldwin was not wearing a seat belt.

A passenger, 35-year-old John Edward King of Wagoner, was belted in and was not injured. He had to be released from his seatbelt by emergency personnel.

Trooper Edward Johnson said Baldwin's ability to drive was impaired by alcohol. The 26-year-old Tulsa man was admitted to a local hospital in stable condition with internal injuries.
