TULSA, Oklahoma – Former Tulsa City Councilor Dennis Troyer died Tuesday morning, Don Cannon, the Tulsa City Council Chief of Staff, said Tuesday.
Troyer, a Democrat, represented District 6 for two terms, from 2006-2009.
"Councilor Troyer will forever be remembered for his dedication, candor and sense of humor as he passionately served the citizens of Tulsa by moving the city forward in his work on Oneok Field, OSU Medical Center, the relocation of City Hall as well as his passionate dedication to east Tulsa," Cannon said in a statement Tuesday.
Dennis Troyer is survived by his wife, Nancy Troyer. There is no word on a cause of death.
