Owasso Cam Added To News On 6 Skycam Network

OWASSO, Oklahoma -- The News On 6 Warn Team has a new way to keep an eye on the Oklahoma sky.  A new camera has been added to the Skycam Network.

The new camera is located on top of the First Bank of Owasso at 86th Street North and Highway 169. The bank's height and location make it a great spot for not just weather monitoring, but keeping up with traffic too.  The bank is Owasso's tallest building, six stories tall.

"We're just really to have you up here," said Dee Sokolosky, with the First Bank of Owasso.  "The view, of course you're on the sixth story, the top, and it should provide a great view of the weather rolling in, particularly from the west and the north and as they keep doing construction on 169, it should give you a traffic camera as well but we're just really excited to partner with you guys."

This is our 13th Skycam in northeastern Oklahoma.  There are several in Tulsa, as well as in Muskogee, Bartlesville, Sapulpa, Claremore.
