Victims In Deadly Ponca City Plane Crash Identified

PONCA CITY, Oklahoma -- The names of the two men involved in a deadly plane crash in Ponca City Saturday have been released.

The pilot, 30-year-old Matthew Green of Edmond, remains in critical condition at a Kansas hospital. The passenger, Kenneth Green II of Seminole, 23, died in a Ponca City hospital.

The two were in a Piper Cherokee 140 single engine airplane.

The plane stopped upside down near an industrial park on the grounds of the Ponca City airport.

A witness says he saw it make a final approach, then turned away, when he looked back the plane had already crashed.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.
