HASKELL, Oklahoma -- A Muskogee County community is working to attract a Coweta business thanks to help from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
The city of Haskell has already received approval for a $320,000 grant from the Department of Commerce.
On Monday, ODOT approved $180,000 grant.
Haskell town administrator Dewayne Points says both grants will help complete infrastructure work at the city's airport industrial park.
Points says they've been working for over a year to get Coyote Industries in Coweta to relocate to Haskell.
That infrastructure work includes an access road and sewer lines.
Once that work is done, Points says Coyote Industries will begin work on a building and when it's finished is expected to bring 16 new full time jobs to Haskell.
Points says their community is wanting to grow and is working with a developer who's considering building a strip mall in Haskell.
