TULSA, Oklahoma -- Santa and Mrs. Claus made their way from the North Pole to North Tulsa Saturday. And they brought some friends with them.
A number of groups entertained the kids while they waited in line to see Santa at the Greenwood Cultural Center.
And the crowds loved it. Tons of people showed up for the special visit.
Of course, every kid had to sit on Santa's lap and whisper in his ear their secret wish for Christmas. While some wanted the usual -- like Barbie dolls -- others know times are hard and want Santa's help to make it better.
"I am quite moved by those children who want Santa to help them get their grandmother home from the hospital for example or help their dad get a job," said Dr Brenda Lloyd-Jones, Event Organizer.
One girl wants a little extra help with her school work. She asked Santa to bring her all A's for Christmas.
And, each child received a new book just for stopping by today.
