TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma -- A four way stop sign along with a flashing light has been added to an intersection of 161st West Avenue and 61st Street South in west Tulsa County.
On October, 24, 2010, that intersection proved deadly to two Sand Springs teenagers.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Hannah Christian and Cassidy Rotramel died from injuries sustained in a wreck.

Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith says county engineers and Sand Springs Assistant Police Chief Mike Carter came up with a plan to make the intersection safer.
"We knew that nothing could be done to change the tragedy that happened here last month," Keith said. "But after meeting with Chief Carter, it became clear that something must be done. It's simply a public safety issue and hopefully we can keep this from happening again."
Both teens were 10th graders at Sand Springs High School.
