TULSA, Oklahoma -- John Silva has been named chief executive officer of Morton Comprehensive Health Services in Tulsa. Silva has been the interim CEO since July.
Silva will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the health center that provides more than 50,000 patient contacts annually at four locations in Tulsa North, Midtown, Tulsa East and Nowata.
"We are excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Silva to the CEO position at Morton," said Lillian Watts-Ray, a member of Morton's board of directors.
"We believe he brings the required and necessary leadership for future growth and development of Morton in light of Morton's mission to serve the health care needs of the insured, uninsured and underinsured in the community."
Morton is the largest community health center in Oklahoma, providing medical, dental and other services to the public.
