BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma -- Bartlesville's superintendent has started the process of firing a mid-high teacher accused of having sex with a teenage student.
Jeff Wade was arrested on November 4, 2010 and charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl.

Wade teaches computer applications at the Bartlesville school. The victim told investigators that she is a student in one of Wade's classes.
The Bartlesville school board voted Monday night on setting a dismissal hearing for Wade for January 13, 2011 at 5 p.m.
If convicted on the sexual assault charge, Wade could face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
