Tulsa Stabbing Suspect Arrested By Police

TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 27-year-old Tulsa man is in the Tulsa County jail after officers investigating a stabbing incident found the man with blood on his hands and very intoxicated.

Police were on a traffic stop, when a car carrying a stabbing victim, drove up and parked behind the patrol car.

Tulsa Police say the victim told them, he was asleep in his bed in a home in the 600 block of East 54th Place North, when Alberto Martinez walked in and stabbed him in his left arm and hip.

Martinez and the victim were roommates.

After a search, police located Martinez in the 3600 block of North Hartford and placed him under arrest on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
