TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa man being sought by police in connection with several business robberies including a bank robbery on October 25, 2010 has been taken into custody.

David Belton, 49, was arrested late Wednesday evening by Broken Arrow Police at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of West Jasper.  Police say he contacted a person who was working security at the complex to say that his niece had told him his photo had been shown on the news as a suspect wanted by police.

He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on 3 charges of first degree robbery by force and fear and two charges of robbery with a firearm.

Police issued a news release Wednesday, seeking the public's help in locating Belton.
