Man Sought In Several Tulsa Robberies

TULSA, Oklahoma -- The Tulsa Police Department robbery unit has identified a suspect in a series of robberies. Officers hope to arrest David Wayne Belton, 49, in connection with the robberies of several businesses including the MidFirst Bank Robbery on October 25th, 2010.

Belton is also the suspect in a QuikTrip robbery at 2749 East Admiral on October 24th, a Payless Shoe Store robbery at 2175 South Sheridan on October 23rd and a Check N Go robbery at 2146 South Sheridan on October 20th.

The Tulsa police are asking anyone with information on Belton's whereabouts to call the Robbery Tip Line at 527-0085, or email robbery@cityoftulsa.org. They can also call the FBI at 664-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
