TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa street was closed for about an hour late Tuesday night after a SUV crashes into two utility poles.
The crash occurred shortly before midnight on Harvard near 36th Street.
Tulsa Police say the driver told them he swerved to miss something in the street when he lost control, jumped the curb and hit a pole on the west side of Harvard.
When the driver attempted to regain control, he overcorrected and hit another pole.
The driver was taken by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital, but police say he is expected to be okay.
The southbound lanes of south Harvard was shut down for over an hour while PSO replaced the two utility poles.
