TULSA, Oklahoma -- A 17-year-old Tulsa teen has been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting in east Tulsa in which another teenager has died.
Tulsa Police say Gustavo Escareno-Guzman was arrested after he was questioned by police officers early Thursday morning.
Officers tell News On 6, five or six people were standing in a garage when a car pulled up and passengers inside the car started shooting.
Tulsa Police say the 18-year-old teen, identified as Christian Reyes was shot. That shooting happened on South 104th East Avenue.
Reyes was taken to a Tulsa hospital where he died a short time later.
Tulsa Police are also investigating a second drive-by shooting at around 11 p.m. This shooting happened outside a home near Haskell Place and Gillette.
Police officers say a car passed by a home and fired shots inside. A woman inside called 911 and while she was on the phone with a police dispatcher, the car returned and someone inside started firing a gun again before driving away.
Several people, including an eight-year old were in the home, but no one was hurt.
Escareno-Guzman was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of first degree murder.
