MIAMI, Oklahoma -- Once a Norseman, always a Norseman!

Northeastern State A & M will hold its homecoming festivities this weekend with an extra Norse twist. This year's Miss And Queen Norse Spirit will be joined by Mr. Norse Spirit as well.

"We received very positive feedback from the student body with the addition of Mr. Norse Spirit," said Athletic Department Secretary Whitney Bluejacket. Bluejacket is also a homecoming candidate committee member.

The university will hold its annual Homecoming Parade Saturday.

Bluejacket said this year in an effort to make the title of Homecoming Queen and Mr. and Miss Norse Spirit even more prestigious than it already was, the committee came up with a new code of conduct for all candidates to sign.

Some of these changes included: a cumulative GPA of 2.5, three recommendation letters, and attendance at all pertinent events.

The Student Body Government passed on all changes recommended by the committee, as well as added making a few changes as well.

Coronation of the King and Queen will be at half-time of the NEO Football game. The reigning Queen, Katy Wyatt, will be present to crown the 2010 Homecoming King and Queen.

Honor attendants are Evie Stark, daughter of Craig and Christen Stark and Judson Cheatham, son of James and Sami Cheatham.
