SAND SPRINGS, OKLAHOMA -- A Sand Springs Public School principal of shoplifting has turned in her resignation.
Security officers say they caught Melessa Clark stealing makeup from the Sand Springs Walmart.
Clark was the principal at Clyde Boyd Middle School. Her resignation was accepted at Monday night's school board meeting.
On September 29, 2010, Lonetta Sprague, assistant superintendent at Sand Springs Public Schools, told the News On 6 Clark had been suspended with pay until her court appearance later this month.
