TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- One of the attractions at this year's Tulsa State Fair is very cheesy. In place of the usual butter sculpture, it's the Golden Cheddar Driller – a replica of the world-famous Golden Driller in cheese.

Sarah Kaufman, also known as The Cheese Lady, is working her magic in the lower level of the QuikTrip Center. She is carving the local Tulsa icon out of 640 pounds of cheese.

Kaufman, who has studios in Cincinnati and San Diego, appears in person to sculpt cheese at food and wine festivals, supermarkets, trade shows and other special occasions.

She will also appear on the Kitchen Stage with lessons on how to prepare an Oklahoma Cheese Platter and expert tips on wine and cheese pairings.

The sculpture is sponsored by Southwest Dairy Farmers to promote Oklahoma's dairy industry.
