TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- A man called Tulsa Police early Friday morning and told them he had killed a man near Byrd Middle School in the 7500 block of East 57th Street, but police never found a body.

The man told police officers he heard his car alarm, looked out and saw a man near his Jeep.

He went outside and chased the suspect from his home in the 5700 block of South 69th East Avenue all the way to the middle school, where he says the two men began fighting.

After the fight, the Jeep owner then returned home and called 911, telling a dispatcher he may have killed the suspect.

Tulsa Police used the police helicopter to search near the school but could not find a body.

The Jeep owner says this was the second time someone has tried to break into his Jeep.

He was taken by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital for treatment of some cuts.
