TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa native Leon Russell and Elton John are set to perform in concert at the BOK Center Friday, November 12, 2010. The BOK Center held a news conference Tuesday morning to make the announcement.
Leon Russell and Elton John will play their greatest hits along with selections from their new collaboration album, "The Union," scheduled for release on October 19, 2010.
Produced by Oscar and multiple-Grammy winning producer T Bone Burnett, "The Union" features the two artists performing a variety of musical genres including R&B, soul, gospel, country, pop and rock.
Elton John's band includes Davey Johnstone on guitar, Bob Birch on bass, John Mahon on percussion, Nigel Olsson on drums and Kim Bullard on keyboards.
Leon Russell's band comprises Jack Wessel on bass, Chris Simmons on guitar, Brandon Holder on drums and Beau Charron on guitar and steel guitar.

Having hometown favorite Leon Russell join Elton on the same stage, on the same night, is truly incredible," said John Bolton, General Manager of BOK Center. "It is a privilege for the BOK Center to be included as one of only eleven current dates on this entire tour."
