Former Mayor of Haskell Dies

HASKELL, Oklahoma -- A former Haskell mayor convicted of causing a crash that killed a Coweta chiropractor has died.

Charley Smith was sentenced to ten years behind bars, but had served just six months when a judge released him.

Dr. Shawn Lee was on his way to work after having lunch with his wife in 2006 when he was hit. Police say Smith was drunk at the time of the crash.
