TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa Police are looking for a suspect following an attempted strong arm robbery in the parking lot at Woodland Hills Mall Monday evening.
Police officers got the call at 6:05 p.m. near the Sears store in the Woodland Hills parking lot.
The victim told officers she had been accosted after she had placed her packages in her vehicle's trunk.
She said the suspect approached her from behind and attempted to take her purse off her shoulder.
Tulsa Police say the victim resisted as the suspect dragged her across the parking lot.
After she screamed, police say the suspect let go and jumped into a waiting car and sped off.
Police haven't shared many details of the suspect's description, other than to say he is a white or Hispanic man between the ages of 20 to 25, wearing a white T-shirt.
The car is believed to be a purple Chrysler Sebring, which was occupied by two other white or Hispanic males. The car was driving at a high rate of speed when it left the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
