Tulsa Police say the two women, 42-year-old Margaret Miller and 21-year-old Diane Bowers, were arrested on complaints of harboring a fugitive at a motel in the 8500 block of East Skelly Drive shortly before 8 p.m. Monday.

Police say the women reportedly got a call from Smith ordering them to pick him up in McAlester.

According to police the two women drove to McAlester and waited along a road in Pittsburg County for Smith to meet them.

Police say all three then drove to a Tulsa motel.

Smith was serving prison sentences out of Tulsa County for assault and battery on a police officer and larceny of an automobile.
