Man Dies From Stab Wounds In Okay Bar Incident Tuesday Night

OKAY, OKLAHOMA -- A Muskogee County man is in the Wagoner County jail charged with first degree murder in the stabbing death of an Okay man late Tuesday evening.

Okay Police officer Lewis Rushano tells the News On 6, he arrested 23-year-old Ervin Mykitin following the incident.

The victim was identified as 22-year-old Billy Lee.

Lee was taken by ambulance to a Muskogee hospital following an incident at the Blue Bar in Okay.

Rushano says he initially got a call about a stabbing victim and after talking with Mykitin, he determined Mykitin was not a victim but rather a suspect in the incident at the bar.

Mykitin was arraigned in Wagoner County District Court on the murder charge Wednesday afternoon.
