OWASSO, OKLAHOMA -- More than 8,500 children returned to the school in Owasso Wednesday as that district welcomed students back for the first day of classes.
Owasso Public Schools changed the start time for the elementary school students this year. Classes go from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Several other northeast Oklahoma school districts opened Wednesday as well. That list includes Glenpool schools.
