BARTLESVILLE, OK -- A recent visitor to Bartlesville and Broken Arrow, Oscar winner Ben Affleck has reportedly joined the cast of Terrence Malick's next movie which will be shot in Oklahoma this fall.
Malick, who has lived in Bartlesville, is known for directing the movies "The Thin Red Line," "The New World," "Badlands" and "Days Of Heaven."
According to celebrity websites, Rachel Weisz has joined the cast of Malick's next movie.
TheWrap.com reports the project was announced at the Berlin Film Festival, where it was described as a romantic drama and a "powerful and moving love story."
The same website says production is scheduled to begin the first week of October in Oklahoma.
Earlier this week, rumors began flying that Ben Affleck and his wife Jennifer Garner were in the Sooner State.
On Wednesday, Broken Arrow Bass Pro employee Meghan Longobardi told The News On 6 she had met Affleck and Garner as they were shopping for some fishing equipment.

Longobardi told The News On 6, Affleck said he was in town for a project and the new reports seem to confirm that it will take place in Oklahoma.
