TULSA, OK -- For the second weekend in a row, motorists driving U.S. Highway 75 in west Tulsa will face a major headache.
All southbound lanes of 75 will be closed where I-244 and 75 split south of the Arkansas River.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation will shut down a three mile stretch of highway starting at 7 p.m. Friday.
ODOT says it is scheduled to reopen at 6 a.m. Monday.
The reason is work on a new bridge deck in the 3 mile stretch.
During the closure, southbound 75 motorists will need to take I-244 south to the I-44 junction. Go east on I-44 until it meets up with U.S. Highway 75.
