STILLWATER, OK – Former Oklahoma State University men's basketball coach Sean Sutton is expected to be in court in Stillwater on Friday.
Sutton is expected to enter a plea in connection with charges of illegally obtaining prescription drugs.
In a news conference before his court appearance, Sutton told the media that he did the crime and would accept the judge's ruling. He said he was concentrating on working a recovery program and accepting help from a support group.
Sutton, who was arrested in February, completed a 90-day treatment program earlier this year.
"The past six months have been the most difficult of my life," he said. "But as difficult as it has been for my family and me, this time has also been an incredible opportunity to learn and grow."
