Broken Arrow Police: Foul Play Not Suspected In Tulsa Man's Death

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Broken Arrow Police are continuing to investigate the cause of death of a 53-year-old Tulsa man. His body was found early Monday near a pond in the 1900 block of East Omaha Street.  

Police say they responded at about 12:30 a.m. Monday to a report of an unattended death. 

Officers found the body of Larry W. Walkup a short distance off the road. 

Broken Arrow Police Major Carole Newell says at this point there is nothing to indicate foul play. 

Walkup's body has been turned over to the state Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa to determine cause and manner of death.
