TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police say a 7-year-old boy was shot in the arm at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of South Cincinnati just after Noon Friday.
The shooting happened at the Riverside Plaza Apartments.
Police Captain Randy Hughes says two suspects and a resident of an apartment were arguing. When one of the suspects pulled a handgun, police say the resident shut the apartment's front door and one of the suspects fired a single shot through the door, striking the boy in the arm.
The two suspects then ran to a car and sped away. Hughes says one of the suspects was 30-years-old wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. He says the car was either a white Lincoln Grand Marquee or Ford Crown Victoria.
EMSA tells The News On 6 the child was taken to a Tulsa hospital in serious condition.
Tulsa Police are talking with the apartment's resident and a witness to try and find out what the altercation was about.
