First Tee Program Offers Kids Lessons in Both Golf and Life

TULSA---Since 2001 The First Tee program at Tulsa's Mohawk Park Golf Course has taught over 9,200 students golf as well as valuable life lessons.

‘The First Tee kids act differently than other kids,' said First Tee Director Janice Gibson, ‘we don't throw clubs, we don't act like the professionals you sometimes see on TV.'

‘They teach us how to perfect our swing and short-game, and life-skills and etiquette and they teach you how to be a better person,' said Broken Arrow teen Baylee Price.
