Big Brother Volunteer, Tulsa Union Teacher Charged With Lewd Molestation

TULSA, OK – A Tulsa Union school teacher and former Big Brother volunteer was charged with one count of lewd molestation Tuesday.

Curt Carson is accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy he was matched with by the non-profit organization.

Tulsa Police say the dozen sexual assaults took place at Carson's home in 2002 and 2003.

The victim, who is now 20, only came forward last year. Investigators arrested Carson earlier this month, after a phone sting when they say he admitted to molesting the boy.

Curt Carson, who also taught at three Tulsa Public middle schools from 1995 to 2005, is on paid suspension.  He is out of the Tulsa County jail on bond.
