Tulsa Actor To Be Honored At Tulsa United Film Festival

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa native Marshall Bell, a movie and television actor, will be honored Saturday with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the eighth annual Tulsa United Film Festival.

The festival is July 29 through August 2 at Circle Cinema, 12 South Lewis.

Bell is best known for movie roles such as Mr. Lachance in "Stand By Me," Webster in "Twins" and Lt. Atwater in the mobster cult classic film "Things to do in Denver When You're Dead" and for his numerous guest appearances on television shows including: "Hill Street Blues," "CSI" and "The X-Files."

Bell will be honored prior to the film's Tulsa premiere at The Tulsa United Film Festival at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 31.

To date, Marshall Bell has appeared in 73 feature films and 30 television shows.
