Car Breakdown Leads To Burglary Arrest In Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police captured a burglary suspect after his car broke down shortly after the burglary was reported. Oscar J. Gomez, 20, was taken into custody in the 4700 block of East 21st Street.

Police had responded to a burglary in progress call at about 9:06 a.m. Tuesday in the 2100 block of South Urbana Avenue. A witness gave officers a description of the vehicle, and police found it broken down shortly afterward.

Police are still looking for a second suspect, described as a black male in tan shirt and black shorts. Gomez was booked on a complaint of second degree burglary.
